Bridesmaids and Ushers (Groomsmen) Duties

ü     Be cheerful and respectful of all wedding guests and others in the bridal party 

ü     Help choose your wedding outfit and arrive at designative places and times as requested

ü     Be attentive to special requests of bridal couple 

ü     Designate one person to make sure where the rest of the bridal party is at all times so that they are available for toasts, dances, speeches at the appropriate time.  If they are temporarily absent, the designated person will step in to keep things flowing smoothly 

ü     Designate one person to work with the DJ or substitute regarding activity schedule an be willing to take the mike if necessary to smooth things over

ü     Designate one person to put gifts in a safe place with cards attached (bring scotch tape).  At end of evening make sure lost and found items are kept aside in a safe place for guests to retrieve 

ü     Designative one person to handle disruptive issues from any guest, vendor or other person as necessary 

ü     Keep unnecessary stress away from bridal couple during their wedding ceremony and reception by taking appropriate action and reporting it to Best Man or Maid of Honor 

ü     Designate a driver who will not be drinking or arrange for another sober person to drive the wedding party.
